Bird Hunting at PTA Keamuku area
The U.S. Army at Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) is offering a two-day bird hunt with shotgun for local hunters, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 23-24 in Keamuku hunting areas 1-3. Bird permits are $25, and general hunting permits are $40 (which includes mammal and bird).

School evacuation drills Dec. 6
Konawaena High School, Konawaena Middle School and Ke Kula ‘o Ehunuikaimalino All School off-campus evacuation drills will be held between 8:30 and 10 a.m. Dec. 6.
Police and staff will be assisting students in the evacuation drill. Traffic will be slow or interrupted from Konawaena School Road to Onouli Road during those hours.
